The core of the Novacom Services offer, the Novacom platform is a computer centre that allows all of our customers and users to access their data from any PC connected to the Internet.

The Novacom platform stores data from the terminals and hosts applications that can be used to handle monitoring and remote tracking functions. This service is not simply a website: indeed, the platform processes messages in real time, enriches them, forwards them on to their addressees and stores them in a database.

From the web application, each customer can access his own customised, secure space. He can, along with various other functions:
•    Visualise his fleet at any given moment in real time
•    Replay a past route
•    Summarise the movements of each vehicle in a table or graph
•    Invite new users to access the same account
•    Monitor and protect certain vehicles: exceeding speed limits, prolonged standstill, request for assistance…

The customer is also the account administrator and can therefore manage access, add new vehicles, change visual preferences…

Hosted in a calculation centre that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a weeks, the Novacom platform is backed up by the most innovative computing technologies. This computer centre is itself backed up by a remote mirror site guaranteeing the redundancy and securisation of computing processes. Availability of the web application is thus more than 99.5%.

We anticipate the future by allowing for a continuous load increase (at the present time, more than a million messages a week are processed). We also apply improvements as and when technologies or our customers' requirements evolve.

Using the platform means taking advantage of the regular upgrades applied to it. It means eradicating all computer-related constraints (a simple Internet browser is all you need) and sharing information between any number of users.
